Cook Time 15 minutes
¾ cup freshly grated parmesan
Salt & freshly cracked pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini and cook until al dente.
Using tongs place the pasta into a dry plan over very low heat. Add half of the butter, parmesan and a ladleful of the starching pasta cooking water and toss together to slowly melt the butter and the cheese together to form a cream sauce. Add the remaining butter, cheese and another splash of water and toss and gently fold through pasta so it coats each strand.
Serve with freshly cracked pepper on top.
