2 tspn black tea leaves
1 slice orange
2 bay leaves
1 bunch mint
8 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Crushed ice
1 tbsp vanilla infused sugar syrup

Vanilla Sugar Syrup
1 cup water
¾ cup caster sugar
1 vanilla bean, scraped


Embed the cloves into the peel of the orange slice and add it the brew basket of your kettle with the bay leaves, 2 mint leaves, cinnamon stick and tea leaves. Brew the tea with 750mL water and leave to cool in a separate jug.

Fill the bottom of 2 tall glasses with some mint leaves and lychees and fill each glass with crushed ice then pour the tea over the top.

Vanilla Sugar Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine all the syrup ingredients over a low heat. Once well combined, bring to the boil for two minutes and allow to cool. Keep any extra in the refrigerator.
